40 days and 40 nights

All very positive, we are now beginning to see how generous people are, so far £275 has been pledged, fantastic, thank you.

WE, Chrissy and I are getting ready for the mammoth task of walking the Santiago de Compostela, starting in Saint jean pied-du-Port.In France, walking over the Pyrenees and into Spain, I know its being done all the time, but for us its a very special walk, as we are doing it for Horseback Uk ,a charity we are passionate about, it helps wounded soldiers recover their sense of purpose in life, after horrific wounds due to various wars going on around the world, at houseback.uk they can start to rebuild their lives, with the help of horses, not any horse, quarter horses, kind, patient and understanding, and willing to help and work with their partners.

This is just the beginning of the blog, at the moment we are setting up the website, and training hard to sort of break the body in gently, so as not to go into shock on the first day!! we are intending to set off on the last week in August, hopefully it won't be too crowded?
